Kazi Rezai, D.O. is a highly skilled Osteopathic Physician and Surgeon specializing in Safer Pain Management®, Addiction Medicine and Longevity Medicine® at Coastal Primary Care. He is dedicated to helping his patients improve their health and well-being, using evidence-based practices so they may live their most functional and fulfilling lives.
Dr. Rezai graduated from Francisco Bravo Medical Magnet High School in Los Angeles, California. He then completed his Pre-Med and undergraduate studies at UCLA, earning his Bachelor of Science in Psychobiology. He also completed courses at Stanford University during Summer School. Dr. Rezai then attended Touro University California, College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine in 2008. He completed his Medical School senior year Clinical Rotations at Michigan State University, College of Osteopathic Medicine in East Lansing, MI. Dr. Rezai then completed his Post-Doctoral Internship at Oklahoma State University Medical Center in 2011.
Dr. Rezai completed his Addiction Medicine Apprenticeship in 2014 at American Health Services in Long Beach, California. He trained under Rodney P. Stillion, MD (Deceased). Dr. Stillion was one of the founding giants in the field of Addiction Medicine. Dr. Rezai was Dr. Stillion's final Apprentice-Physician, imparting over 50 years of knowledge and wisdom in perfecting the art and science of Addiction Medicine.

Dr. Rezai is exceptionally skilled in managing Post-Op and Chronic Pain in a manner which is both highly effective and SAFE for the patients.
Dr. Rezai also has a passion for treating individuals struggling with Substance Abuse, including Opioid Addiction. Dr. Rezai and the team offer counseling and Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) with Suboxone® to help patients navigate the path to recovery and avoid future relapse. Dr. Rezai has been very successful in refining his art and skill over the years and has an incredible 99% success rate for treating Opioid Dependence! This is currently the highest success rate in the U.S.
Dr. Rezai provides a full complement of Longevity Medicine® services to help mitigate the effects of aging, and ensure his patients feel healthy and empowered. He and the team offer wellness services, such as Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Pellets, and Medical Weight Loss.
